UM he is an officer in the US Air Force, Um a respected surgeon, and oh yeah he has just returned from his THIRD (COUNT'EM THIRD) voluntary combat mission to Iraq. His first he came back with an Air Medal and 26 combat missions to fly into action to treat wounded soldiers.

So I kinda DO know about Tourettes and as a matter of fact (the guy was a firefighter EMT under me)we did call him TWITCH.

“XL.. I HAVE TOURETTE SYNDROME...so I know first hand what it is like growing up being called "twitch". As an adult I deal with it fine and YOU would never even know I have it. I am glad you think it is fun to make fun of someone who is different. He may accept the ribbing because he is used to it..doesn't mean he likes it. If you REALLY asked him, he MIGHT tell you that.

having Tourettes doesn't make you stupid...its great he is a doctor and military guy, but having tourettes doesn't make that more of an accomplishment...
