Lone Wolf from Damascus

“For those of you who know Lone Wolf, I wanted to pass along to you that he had a heart attack yesterday. He was taken to the hospital and ended up having a quadruple bypass. Here is the update and good wishes thread on WB.

“That is scary. I don't really know him but I have seen his name and heard lots of other peeps mention him. I may have met him somewhere or another, but I can't say for sure, my memory ain't too great. I hope the best for him.”

“Yup, he is only like 48 or 49. I've met him a few times, like at SoRuck, around Damascus and he gave me a shuttle once. Nicest guy you could ever meet, but he wouldn't want me spreading that fact around. :)”

“Thanks CK for putting a thread on LW here, you beat me to it. I just started reading about him on WB today. My first backpacking trip on the AT was when I met Lone Wolf. He and a friend shuttled us north of Mount Rogers for a TT trip. That was my first Trailtalk trip for that matter. Well wishes to he and Gypsy for his speedy recovery.”
