“I know there is a spring behind Thomas Knob Shelter at Mt. Rogers but I was curious if there is any other water near by.”

“What do you consider nearby? I know there is water at the big clearing before rhodendendrum gap about a 1/2 mile past Thomas”

“Hoping to find some on the way to Thomas Knob from Rhodendendrum Gap (if you are coming from Wise).”

“That spring is about a 1/4 mile to the left of the trail once you get out of the rhodo tunnel after. You can't miss it. Its inside a fenced area out in the open surrounded by piles of horse dung.”
