Oh yeah, Tea
maybe.....these guys would be in jail if they ran a company this way....

Barney FRank, Tim Geitner, Nancy Pelocy, Chriss Dodd, he11, eve Obama....they've never had a real job....they're may be a lawyer or 2 in there but no private sector jobs that actually PRODUCE anything.

Congress had a 13% approval rating, a 98% weasel rating, and yet 80% get reelected...

here's another stat, Bush grew the government by 8%, this class under Obama is on pace to grow the government by 36%!

Is that the hope and change we can believe in? The government is out of control!

Tea Party anyone?

Skewed priorities.

All your #&%!$ing and complaining doesn't do jack shyt to remedy the past eight years of corruption and walking all over Americans under the guise of protecting us. You're tasting the dog poop after you've already licked the plate clean, dood.

I'm tired of Republicans and Democrats spending like drunken sailors, and not looking out for OUR interests...

what do you believe in?

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

12 Values
Honesty
Reverence
Hope
Thrift
Humility
Charity
Sincerity
Moderation
Hard Work
Courage
Personal Responsibility
Gratitude

We should hold our elected officials up to these standards, without exception.....how can anyone argue with that?

no, i don't disagree with the premise behind it. i don't agree with all 9 principles. i think glen beck is a sappy clown.

the main things is i like to espouse my own views, gathered from my own thoughts and beliefs.

Strat, each of those requires personal responsibility. None can be legislated thus it lessens the "POWAH" of the Government. Baume is just ticked that you demand freedom for human beings.

you're funny xl. where have i said anything that would lead you to that statement?

must i address these 9 individually?

1. america does much good, could do better.
2. how does this imply freedom? freedom to believe what you want as long as god is the center of your life?
3. agree, a good way to live.
4. the ultimate authority of your own actions. we, and our peers through our government, are the ultimate authority of the society we live in.
5. this kinda of contradicts #4 as it's written above. yes, you should pay the penalty for crimes but, justice isn't as blind as it should be. not even really close in my opinion.
6.agree. i also recognize all others have these rights and should be given opportunities. we're a far way from that yet so it's hard to say if results would be equal.
7. agree, government should not be in the charity business. the way this statement is written, it sounds a bit selfish.
8. agree wholeheartedly
9. another selfish statement in my opinioin. while a far cry from it, the government should work for all of us as a whole, not single individuals.

in my opinion, glen beck has a long way to go before he reaches great american status.

1. america does much good, could do better.
We can all do better, that is the failure of HUMAN NATURE (LOL)>

2. how does this imply freedom? freedom to believe what you want as long as god is the center of your life?

WOW, I have checked THREE times and do not see ANYWHERE in there that it requires YOU Baume to believe the same thing. This is what Strat wants to believe in. Granted I think he is going to have some 'splainin to do to the Giant Spaghetti Monster..but thats HIS THING. IT DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU DO MOVE ONE BIT FROM YOUR WHINEY ASSED POSITION.
3. agree, a good way to live.

Wait Wait does this not imply that you are not a very good person YESTERDAY? OH CRAP well thats it the world has ended...((sarcasm font off) (LOL)
4. the ultimate authority of your own actions. we, and our peers through our government, are the ultimate authority of the society we live in.

This is the root of your problem Baume. You do not see the responsibility as starting at HOME. IF Rastondra shoots up a store its always 'SOCIETY'S FAULT" sorry but Rastondra chose to pull that Gat' and squeeze the trigger.

5. this kinda of contradicts #4 as it's written above. yes, you should pay the penalty for crimes but, justice isn't as blind as it should be. not even really close in my opinion.

Baume, the system is only as good as the people involved. Justice is derived from morality (uh oh..that damn responsibility thing) and that comes from getting what you have earned. Do people beat the system? Heck yes, Does the system falsely screw up people? YEP...its part of being HUMAN> But just because Slick Willy committed perjury and walked (while many other have done LONG TIME) does not mean the system is worthless. It just means we have to work harder.

6.agree. i also recognize all others have these rights and should be given opportunities. we're a far way from that yet so it's hard to say if results would be equal.

AH YES the typical Liberal WHINE about "equal results" oh My God, you so made the point of the argument about freedom. Look Baume how many people start the Boston Marathon? How many finish first? WELL WAIT ONE DAMN MINUTE THEY SHOULD ALL JUST MOVE AT THE SPEED OF THE SLOWEST PERSON right?

Bull#&%!$. Tiger Woods worked his ass off to be a great golfer. I on the other hand liked backpacking and other things. I HAVE NOT ONE REASON TO DEMAND THE SAME SCORE as Tiger on the course.

Same in Business. I have seen private business owners mortgage free time, party time, sleep etc to get where they are. YOU make the decisions on what you see are important. If like some people you prefer to stay drunk at home and let the wife do the work...Okay ACCEPT the results. NO No the only equal results scenario is when we are all dead.

7. agree, government should not be in the charity business. the way this statement is written, it sounds a bit selfish.

Well what if Government decided you were to be RELIGIOUS. And demanded you give 10% of your week to the Church (or whatever faith they decided?) Baume what if whoever is in charge decides he likes YOUR backpacking stuff and walks into your house with a gun and takes it? HEY he wants equal cool gear...is this a crime?

Hell yes its selfish. If I worked like a dog to save and get what I have what right do you or anyone else have to tell me I am guilty of owning it? No really, I drive a 3 year old pick up which I bought with money I EARNED, I like it. Now a friend of mine dumps money into the party lifestyle and his Boat. He has a old pickup he uses to haul the boat. He normally drives a distressed Monarch. He has different values what is his place to tell me to support his decisions?

If you have a friend who is uninsured and rides a motorcycle without a helmet. IS there anything that should require you to give up ONE PENNY to take care of him if he becomes a vegetable?

8. agree wholeheartedly

LOL ever notice how the maggot infested dope smoking freaks from the 60's and 70's saying "QUESTION AUTHORITY" are the teachers now demanding absolute conformance to their requests? Don't believe me look at the major universities cracking down on free speech and expression that they disagree with.

9. another selfish statement in my opinioin. while a far cry from it, the government should work for all of us as a whole, not single individuals.

And as usual you have absolutely NO understanding of High School Civics. The Government is derived from the People...it was described that way in the Constitution.

DUde, let's be adults here. Yeah, the title of the whole thread is we surround them, a specefic show Beck did. So posting his ideas are relavent to this thread. It's the plot, the theme, the piont, if you will...

Here's my own words so it can't be confused...modern progressive liberalism is a mental disorder at best, a criminbal fraud on mankind at worst....having said that, Republicans like Bush 1 and 2 are not much better. They{BOTH SIDES} have gotten away with it in large part by creating apathy and a false sence of security in the voters.

It's high time people wake up and think about what they believe in and put more effort into choosing their leaders.

If you disagree, I don't care. I could still have a beer or go floating and we'd get along fine...I'm just an ordinary guy.....I pick up the dog dooo, hope that it's hard....

The 9 principles is just a guidline. there's nothing wrong with doing the right thing. I don't agree with every minute implication of every statment, but it's a pretty danm good start, in my opinion. Moral relativism is iresponsible and immature.

In all of those pages lies the success by corporation's and big organization's takeover from the voters. 12,000,000,000 a day for each of the first 100 days is what this administration has strapped your children with. Spending our way to prosperity, borrowing our way out of debt. The progressive left wing's blind loyalty is revolting, especially since the so called "media" is leading the way. They can no longer be trusted to tell us the truth or give us real news.

Make a stand America, the elite doesn't have the answers. Thye have created a false economy, a false security, a false hope. Take this country back form those who have stolen it.
