I think Abby and I are going to be looking for a bigger kid pack for her or I'm going to be hiking back and forth a few times to the parking lot. Last year I used Birch's huge Lowe Alpine to get all our gear in, this year I'm limited on how much weight I can carry. But if the kid carries some of the stuff....”

“bucket wasn't a good idea so i didn't bring it last year - it' gonna be replaced with a more familiar set-up though.

“We're still planning on coming out - planning on arriving Friday noonish. Our 6yo girl went on her first bp trip last month with only 1 other girl so I'm emphasizing that this is shorter, in sand dunes, and with other kids (the latter being the key part of the deal). We are coming from the Harrisburg PA area so it's a bit of a drive.”

We flag the way from the trail end to camp w/ bandanas.”
