WINNING TIMES FOR LIBERALS
ROTFLMAO!!!!

WASHINGTON -- The top 10 recipients of the government's $700 billion financial bailout spent about $9.5 million on federal lobbying during the first three months of the year.

The biggest spender was bailed-out automaker General Motors Corp., which devoted $2.8 million to lobbying in the first quarter of 2009. It has received $13.4 billion in government loans and could get $5 billion more, according to a government report released Tuesday.

Failed insurance giant American International Group Inc. and banks Citigroup Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. each reported spending more than $1 million to influence the government as they lived off federal money this year. AIG has gotten some $70 billion from the bailout fund -- including a fresh $30 billion infusion the government reported on Tuesday -- while Citigroup has received $45 billion and JPMorgan $25 billion.

OH man oh man...I am reviewing a proposed medical treatment policy for "National Incident Respose".

Apparently it is being proposed that field medics will recieve training in "write off's" Meaning patients who we feel would be more of an expense than long term return during a crisis.

The document specifically mentions "people who are unable to care for themselves" and lists addicts, obese, elderly and those that "would strain available resources without a positive return."

Its a theory document...but pretty frightening. I mean you think about "Mass Casualty Incident" and the field triage and essentially this is it for major disaster incidents. Essentially they are discussing "Black Tagging" people who say would be too obese or I guess "worthless" to qualify for extracation.

Standing up for what is right and against what is wrong inspite of arrest and penalty certainly IS a great example for young people.

Going along to get along has sapped some of America's moral character.

Along with petroleum, Gum Arabic, an essential to the world's economy, is another reason Sudan get's away with murder.

Sudan's Miracle Commodity

The Acacia Senegal tree grows all over Africa and even on the Indian subcontinent. Most of the world's gum arabic, however, comes from Sudan, where a thick belt of Acacia Senegal trees stretches from one end of Sudan to the other.

right, right...it's a good example to break the law, as long as your a dem and protesting your cause. on the other hand, protesting legally and orderly (such as tea parties) makes you a bad example, racist, right-wing nogoodnik.

and i am no way saying what's happening in darfur doesn't need to be stopped.

John Lewis is a great American. Civil disobedience is one of the highest forms of protest. They were actually protesting something instead of a foolish charade costume party trying to invoke the Revolutionary War (completely misguided).

Were there any Rebublican congressmen at the tea gatherings, or were they all too chicknshiit it would hurt their numbers at the polls?

Sorry, Losers.   It's going to take a while to clean up the mess you made of the world.

I keep thinking how much better off everyone would be if Dubya's last name had been 'Smith' or something.   He could've gone through life as some half-assed insurance salesman in Bum#&%!$ Texas and not done any real harm.

But he wasn't.   He was tailor-made for Cheney and bin Laden....   and Wall Street.

They were drawing attention to a major international/world/human problem -- one almost entirely ignored by the previous administration. Conduct unbecoming of a Congressperson? Maybe to you. I would say standing up for what you believe in, even if it sometimes means going against the grain, is what this country is all about.

At least they weren't busted for swipping money from the coffers or fishing for blowjobs in bathrooms or from interns.

He did a great job with his "electronic lynching" of Anita Hill that cleared the way for Uncle Clarence Thomas to be seated on the Supreme Court.

And all this time they said they were opposed to affirmative action....   HA
