Hike to Lake John

“Yesterday was gorgeous- deep blue skies, warm and sunny. Took a hike to Lake John, a lake you can only hike too, and its completely undeveloped- no cottages, boats, docks. Saw ducks, geese, mergansers. The geese were fighting and causing a scene. Also saw a kingfisher catch a fish. Lots of islets dotted the lake, and there was a beaver dam at the outlet. A very relaxing place.
