Ramseys Draft Trip

“Cloudwalker and I will be heading up into Ramseys Draft Wilderness Sun. Apr 19th through Tue. Apr 21st. This trip is posted over at Backpacker but I decided throw it over here in order to try to get a few people to join us. We're looking at probably a total of 20 miles, and we like to drink a lot(I know that's important to some of you).

I will be driving up from Norfolk if anyone needs a ride.

Here are the details.

Meet at Mountain House lot off of 250 around noon Sunday.
Hike up Ramseys Draft Trail and make camp up near its intersection with Hiner Springs Trail.
On Monday, do some dayhikes up Hardscrabble Knob, Tearjacket Knob and over to Camp Todd. Spend the night at the same spot as the night before.
Tuesday, we will return to the lot via Hiner Spring Trail to Wild Oak Trail to Bald Ridge Trail. Try to get back to vehicles around 11:00 AM.

I was thinking about spending the second night on the Wild Oak Trail loop, but I am worried about the availability of water along that trail. And as you know, the more water we have to carry, the less alcohol we can carry.
