“This ties into my "we surround Them" thread; This isn't a repub vs demo thang. It's about the government being out of control and taking it back. It's about elected and apointed government officials working for their own best interest and not the poeple's best interest. They answer to us.

I'll be attendind a local non-violent civil disobedience rally at the Faytteville square on tax day.

I think every American who is concerned with the direction this country is headed should do the same. I also suggest that every American read "The 5,000 Year Leap"

Ask yourself these questions;
What do you believe in?
Have the people I have voted for followed my beleifs?
Who holds the power to change this nation?

I do? Where? Basically, the reason the Republicans got thrown out on their asses in the last election (and the next) is because they invoke all of the adjectives you listed above. All of these traits are best demonstrated by the right and its desire to continue with the pathetic "no tax" mantra that, NEWSFLASH, doesn't work; the desire to invade sovereign nations and not do jack shyt to make the world a better place; the quest to torture people in the name of righteousness; the want to make the rich richer and poor poorer and keep it that way; the need to invade your privacy, spy on you and tell you what your moral construct should be. You say this isn't drawn on party lines, but it clearly is, though I will accept that you maybe haven't put that part of it together yet. The last 8 years, we've been saying the exact same thing while you guys said the EXACT same things to us that we're now saying to you. You can't possibly say that such an "awakening" so shortly after your president moved out of the office is anything BUT political.
