Now for REALITY http://brighthall.aol.com/2008/11/20/obama-voters-are-stupid-zogby-says/ The video...OBAMA,OBAMA, OBAMA....(LOL)MMM MMM MMM” 6:23:36 AM 2/22/10 “You Teabaggers know who you are.” 6:29:38 AM 2/22/10 “changing reality really helps your side, huh MarkO?” 6:32:11 AM 2/22/10 “Whoop, there it is.......another one, just like the other one.” 6:38:51 AM 2/22/10 “HPD when reality bites its a lot easier to be drunk and stoned than try to change it...” 6:39:21 AM 2/22/10 “HPD when reality bites its a lot easier to be drunk and stoned than try to change it...” theXL400 7:39:21 AM 2/22/10 That really sums you up, Dan. Are you having a bad day? You are trying to rip my ass again. Did you fall off the wagon...........again?” 6:43:22 AM 2/22/10 “XL, I love the fact that you posted that link to a site that questions the validity of the poll and its methodology. That’s a refreshing way to examine the issue that many Americans are sadly in need of better sources of information. Just to mention one point, it appears that none of those folks could rationally discuss The Ethics of Redistribution. On the other hand…. MarkO, posting pictures with assumptions based on the anti intellectual feeling that people with whom you disagree with are morons and racists is juvenal. The fact that you seem to find bigoted slap fights so funny is a telling admission. Anti-intellectualism is a trait of fascist systems. Emotionally based bigotry towards other groups is a trait of Nazism. And yet, people such as yourself deny that you have anything in common with these systems and try to project these traits onto others. Your anti-intellectual, emotional bigotry is nothing more than mental masturbation. Most people masturbate in private. The fact that you do it in public is quite amusing. The fact that your dysfunctional thinking tries to project your shortcomings onto others is amusing. And the fact that your pattern is to continually ignore these truths is incredibly amusing. For someone who says they believe in altruism, you have shown a complete lack of service to others by providing the group with nothing of intellectual value or further study (XL provided us with a reminder to check our sources of information). Do you read at all? Do you educate yourself on any issues at all? Or do you already have it all figured out and so treat any discussion as one big joke because it is all beneath you? Because that last one is a very amusing concept.” 8:53:58 AM 2/22/10 “Yeah, what arclite said.” 8:57:27 AM 2/22/10 “Mark-o believes anything Jon Stuart says...” 9:06:57 AM 2/22/10 “Jon Stuart doesn't stand behind the cloth when he says something. Need reality?” 9:33:36 AM 2/22/10 “Jon Stuart is a comedian. Just say'n.” 9:38:36 AM 2/22/10 “John Stuart does his show nekkid?” 9:39:23 AM 2/22/10 “Fox news is a comedy also.” 10:01:07 AM 2/22/10 “How is Obama doing?” 10:02:19 AM 2/22/10 ““Mark-o believes anything Jon Stuart says...” Stratd00d 10:06:57 AM 2/22/10 Jon Stewart says stratdOOd blows goats. I don't know whether to believe that or not. Arclite,.....pissed off and pulling my chain. Did I ring your number with those silly photos? What am I, "emotionally based bigot" and "Nazi"??? You are a Sultan Of Slander, so skillful with nastiness. Its nice to see that you have recovered from your recent medical problem and have so much joy to share with the rest of us.” 10:24:45 AM 2/22/10 “He's playing the role of non-puppet corporate puppet which is the description of the job's Dictate. Spending most of his time trying to show he is different from all the other corp. tools , but is even worse than the ones of the past as the corporate noose tightens around american's necks.” 10:29:49 AM 2/22/10 “Almost forgot the lower taxes. How much more can taxes be lowered than the government giving money back that was never paid, isn't that negative rates? See Obama is even better than Bush without the HeeHaww.” 10:42:57 AM 2/22/10 “The day it all started Rick Santelli voiced American's frustration with idiotic big government solutions.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEZB4taSEoA&feature=player_embedded” 12:17:20 PM 2/22/10 “Sultan Of Slander Ah MarkO. You are nothing but consistent. Telling me I’m angry and then engaging in nasty name-calling. You are so predictable. I provide you with a very funny argument for discussion by explaining where I disagree with your approach and you... well you are consistent. “If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost; you can still call him vile names.” Elbert Hubbard MarkO, did it ever occur to you that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others? Wadda ya know. I didn’t even call you any nasty names. What, you don't find joy in my humor? I find plenty to laugh about in your posts. Want a great read, strat? Have you read The Road to Serfdom by Hayek? It's a great philosophical discussion of the unintended consequences of government growth. I'm reading Murray Rothbard's The Ethics of Liberty now (quotes surely to follow). That and finishing up the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy collection must have me in a foul mood. That is, if I believe MarkO's perception. Now THAT'S a funny thought!” 12:48:56 PM 2/22/10 “Arc-d00d, no I haven't read it yet but I hear great things. How bout The 5,000 Year Leap? Atlas Shrugged? Green Jobs and Ham?” 1:10:07 PM 2/22/10 “ok, I made that last one up....” 1:17:24 PM 2/22/10 “Being called a "bigot" and "nazi" by a fringe element wing nut................priceless.” 1:25:29 PM 2/22/10 “psst, Mark0, we surround you....” 1:59:04 PM 2/22/10 “And so it goes, MarkO Making logic leaps that go... From: Your behavior displays bigotry and your though process has commonalities to Nazi thinking... To: You are a bigot and a Nazi Priceless! Simple minds are satisfied by simplistic explanations. So now you're going use that same incisive logic to say I'm calling you a simpleton?” 2:31:34 PM 2/22/10 “Does Ron Paul surround us?” 2:46:41 PM 2/22/10 “The force surrounds us” 2:55:41 PM 2/22/10 “A Rebublican calling someone else a bigot ---- Priceless. Tell us one of your Midnight Basketball jokes.” 3:27:21 PM 2/22/10 “Republican affiliation? WRONG! Name calling? Either a lack of reading comprehension or a complete lack of an understanding of logic. WRONG AGAIN! You just don't seem to get tired of being wrong do you, Tiiilt? Anti-intellectualism runs rampant with you leftists. It practically gallops. Pricey: The fact that someone such as Tiiilt sucks resources from society. Save your breath Tilt. You'll need it to blow up your date.” 3:43:47 PM 2/22/10 “So to those who discount the Tea Party wholesale. Could you look at the following list of core beliefs and please tell me what you do not agree with. Each point is numbered so by all means, take it point by point if you like. The issues and ideas that are at the core of the Tea Party movement: 1) All forms of government must abide by the boundaries set forth in state and federal constitutions. 2) All pork and earmarks in the stimulus, omnibus bills, and bailouts must be reversed and repealed. The national budget must be balanced. Spending cuts, not increased taxation should be used to balance the budget. 3) Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness implies personal responsibility, not handouts, free-enterprise and capitalism, not government controlled economies. Some people choose to be irresponsible (and of course some fall on hard times due to circumstances), but it is not the responsibility of the general public, vis-a-vis government intervention, to guarantee or bailout irresponsibility and failure. Private individuals and organizations give out of compassion and generosity, not compulsion through taxation. laws, and pork barrel projects. 4) ALL elected and appointed officials are under the employment and serve at the will of We the People. 5) Excessive tax burdens kill prosperity. 6) Excessive national debt is generational theft, and stealing the future of our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 7) Neither major political party is "clean" on these issues. Both Democrats and Republicans have taxed excessively and neither have restrained the hand of government effectively. There are certainly individual representatives who have been faithful to their constituents and to the Constitution. However, too many are engaged in protecting their congressional positions and turf. The majority of government officials have insulated themselves from the people they serve, and hold themselves above the law. We are simply saying, "No, you aren't above the law". 8 ) The American public at large is ignorant of the purpose of government, the founding documents such as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Federalist Papers. As a result, they allow politicians to sell them false hope and "rights" and "entitlements" that are not guaranteed by the Constitution. By educating the American people on the foundations of our history, we hope to bring sanity to the election and legislative processes. 9) As a group, we are appalled at the audaciousness and arrogance of our government in the last few years, particularly the proposals and bills passed in the last few months, despite massive public disapproval.” 2:04:37 AM 2/23/10 “Gee whiz, Nigal, that whole thing is nothing but a racist, right-wing psychotic rant.” 3:42:30 AM 2/23/10 “The Tea Party Platform, as presented here by a couple of folks, sounds very rational. It's hard to believe the intensity of the emotional rants against them. Wasn't that video priceless? http://brighthall.aol.com/2008/11/20/obama-voters-are-stupid-zogby-says/ And if history serves me correctly, wasn’t the “cult of personality” a major factor in the rise of fascism? But before anyone answers, just remember that we’ve got to be very careful with our political correctness. MarkO and Tiiilt may accuse us of name-calling; saying that they wear army fatigues and goose step. Because anyone who translates a sign that says: I DON’T LIKE OBAMA Into OBAMA IS A NAPPY-HEADED PICANINNY Has severe perceptual problems.” 4:51:06 AM 2/23/10 “I bet teabaggers still carry pliers in their back pockets.” 4:53:54 AM 2/23/10 “... because MSNBC tells you so.” 5:04:56 AM 2/23/10 “ ”5:16:52 AM 2/23/10 “... because MSNBC tells you so.” 5:19:28 AM 2/23/10 “MSNBC has to tell HIM since apparently NO ONE else is watching it...(LOL)” 5:28:57 AM 2/23/10 “ ”5:29:36 AM 2/23/10 “Perhaps we should call you Butch, Sargie.” 5:39:03 AM 2/23/10 “sexist comments ... typical” 5:40:17 AM 2/23/10 “Who's the little kid, HPD? I am an optimist. I always believe that people who continually display bigoted tendencies (even those who have thinking patterns in common with Nazis) can change. I don’t believe they are stuck in patterns of dysfunctional behavior. However, if I were to just call MarkO names (such as moron) that would show that I believe he has no capacity for change. Logically, it’s impossible for a moron not to be a moron. I certainly hope people like MarkO aren't morons. I'm an optimist. I hold out hope that, one day, MarkO may actually find the courage to engage in a rational discussion such as how he would reform healthcare. Or why he agrees with the Tea Party platform planks.” 5:50:18 AM 2/23/10 “If I were to call you an azzhole it would not be right, Arcl.......so I will not. I will not call you a nazi or a bigot either.........that would be crass. You want to know how I would reform health care? I like single payer, it is the most efficient. I suppose I should be flattered that you are obsessed with me........but I'm not.” 6:01:49 AM 2/23/10 “Single Payer ...wow Marko can you show me ONE that HAS worked?” 6:13:23 AM 2/23/10 6:16:36 AM 2/23/10 “And how have you determined that it's the "most efficient", MarkO? What sources of information can you point to that would lead us to that conclusion? How would you explain that, as the government's percentage of healthcare delivered has risen, healthcare costs have skyrocketed? How would your single payer system be different from that in Europe where they can no longer afford their government healthcare? How would you dispute Hayek's argument that, as government grows, we lose freedom? Considering that medicare is in deep financial trouble, how would your single payer system get it right? Five easy questions. Are you going to flop down another picture or can you enlighten us? I was checking out your pictures. I've got a Whiteface hat. I bought it when I was there last year. I'll be there again in June. We'll be coming through on the bikes after visiting Ausable Chasm, on our way back from Laconia. We'll probably stay somewhere around Lake Placid. Got time for lunch or dinner?” 6:18:06 AM 2/23/10 “Yes When I was Teamster our local had a Welfare Fund into which monthly payments were made on behalf of each member(about 700 in the local) by contract. The fund was managed by a couple of administrative assistants and they paid according to a schedule after members paid their deductible. The fund was managed to earn interest as a not-for-profit(or non-profit) and members chose their own care-givers. When my first son was born they paid costs beyond the deductible. They also asked that if I planned on more kids could I please "chose a less expensive hospital than Washington Hospital Center". That was in the '80s and I have no idea how things work now for them.” 6:29:53 AM 2/23/10 “WHAT!?!?” 6:35:44 AM 2/23/10 You gotta see this! “Dallas Tea Party Invites Olbermann look-a-likes at MSNBC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMdPTpOyUk4&feature=player_embedded” 6:36:01 AM 2/23/10 “"Yes" was for Dan. Are you asking me on a date, Arc? Lake Placid is about 500 miles from my home. Take what you will from my post about the Teamsters Welfare Fund. That is an example of single payer on a relatively small scale that works. Everyone should be so lucky as to belong to a system like that. Sargent Butch has a nice ring to it.” 6:41:59 AM 2/23/10 “I want free bubblegum!” 6:48:06 AM 2/23/10 Jump to Page << prev
