SPICE RUN WILDERNESSView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 5 of 5 messages posted.
“Spice Run is one of the most remote wild areas in West Virginia, access is limited. You can get there by rough jeep road on the west, by canoe or kayak on the Greenbrier River, or by fording the Greenbrier River on foot from the Greenbrier River Trail. No marked trails exist within the area, just a jeep trail along Spice Ridge, which separates Spice Run from Calvin Price State Forest, and another coming in from the south to Slab Camp Mountain.” 3:51:31 PM 4/24/09 “sounds like a pretty cool place to spend a few days!” 4:00:54 PM 4/24/09 “Hey Fridge! Were you planning on going any particular place in this wild area, or just general exploring and hanging out? If I went would this be a situation where you could help me with learning navigation skills with compass, etc?” 7:49:42 PM 5/20/09 “Sunny......I will trek in as far as I can as time permits that day and base camp. From there I will be exploring with GPS MAP etc....” 3:50:38 AM 5/21/09 “weather is looking good for this trip: http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weather.aspx?location=USWV0432” 5:07:27 PM 9/03/09 << back to Deam Wilderness page
