Guys its this way. If you game 1000 people shots of saline. There would be a number who would have reactions, siezures etc. Not from the saline, but maybe from other things.

That being said, I am waiting until the "at danger population" gets their shots before I go.

It has the latest numbers based on CA Dept. of Health, which is probably a pretty representative of the nation. I think it says/confirms some interesting things:

1. Youth are being disproportionately affected by swine flu over regular seasonal flu and the hospitalizations reflect that.

2. There is a 11% mortality rate for those admitted to hospitals. However, it appears all ages are being impacted with the mortality rate highest for those 50 years and older!

3. Pre-existing conditions play largely into those who suffer complications, including pregnant women.

4. Fat people, both adults and kids, seem to be impacted heavily (boo) by the swine flu.”

Look only about 1,000 of the estimated 36 ,000 who die attributed to the flu actually HAVE the flu, the other 35K have pneumonia.
