“Does anyone have any input on the double rainbow tarptent?” 7:39:49 AM 5/17/09 “Yes, just photographed this double rainbow about 10 minutes ago. Unfortunately until I had figured out the best camera settings the second rainbow (to the left) had almost faded. ”12:08:16 PM 5/17/09 “If a double rainbow doesn't make you feel good maybe a spanking is what you need. >8^b” 12:12:29 PM 5/17/09 “No worries, I am actually doing quiet fine ;-)” 12:22:58 PM 5/17/09 “there are quite a few threads on that topic on tt” 12:32:20 PM 5/17/09 “double rainbows?” 12:34:58 PM 5/17/09 “Ha ha ha !!! Dat's good............don't make me cross the Atlantic and give ya "what for".” 12:34:58 PM 5/17/09 “Watch out...there is some probability I might come across the Atlantic.” 12:38:39 PM 5/17/09 “Good, that will make it a lot easier for me to discipline you.” 12:40:55 PM 5/17/09 Uuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh ... “Never mind.” 8:20:05 AM 5/18/09 “Euro hike.....Marko.....get a room. This is a gear thread.” 8:30:09 AM 5/18/09 nemster 8:42:38 AM 5/18/09 I own one. “While, I can use my trekking poles to make the tent self standing, I find it much easier to just stake out the corners. Make sure you seam seal the tent as suggested in the tent directions with a silicon paint thinner (white gas) mixture. Traditional seam sealer will not stick to the sil-nylon. The first time I used the tent I got caught in an 8 - 10 hour downpour. I ended up getting wet caused by a drip every few seconds from the center ridge. I am not sure if the tent was leaking or if it was condensation. I have never had the issue since, but I also have been out with it in that kind of rain.” 8:44:10 AM 5/18/09
