Pictured Rocks Trail Info Needed

“Hey all!
Heading to Pictured Rocks end of June. Already got the shuttle and campsites reserved.
So here are my questions:

1.I have a Lunar Solo tent that needs to be well staked in the ground ta work. Is the soil up there capable of holding a stake or should I consider a self supporting tent??
2.Would it be worth my while ta bring a fishing pole?

“There won't be any trouble staking your tent. Depending if you have any campsites close to any of the inland lakes, you may want to fish. The out of state fishing license will cost plenty, though. And, there's so much to see, so many side trail hikes to do in a day, fishing wouldn't be my first priority unless you're really into it, as offtrack said.”
