“ ![]() OK so on the look-like-a-geek scale this scores only somewhat less than an '80s sweatband and way, way below a doo-rag. I sweat a LOT, especially when I run in the summer. I have to wear a baseball cap, which is very hot in the summer. Sweat always gets in my eyes... pours in... it hurts and had ruined many runs. Same with backpacking, climbing and mountain biking. ...this thing works. It's a little dorky, but it really works. I have mostly run with it on. Sort of a worst case scenario in the summer. No cap... no sweat in the eyes. Amazing, simple idea. How it works is it straps on your head and works like a rain gutter, directing sweat from your forehead off to the side. I hardly know I am wearing it, but you can actually feel the sweat moving off to the side and down your neck. I imagine where you had some wind working for you, like on a road bike, the thing would be stellar. 19 bucks and worth every penny. Just thought I would share. I don't see many new gear innovations on a regular basis that are really and truly worth it.” 12:11:29 PM 7/31/09 “Are the yellow arrows optional?” 12:14:47 PM 7/31/09 “That chick looks a tad bit frustrated to me.” 12:31:21 PM 7/31/09 “ ”12:34:30 PM 7/31/09 “Yeah, she does look like she is trying to drop some timber, doesn't she...” 12:35:05 PM 7/31/09 “omg what is that thing? is that a usb adapter?” 3:42:58 PM 7/31/09 Just the ticket for me “Having very little hair on my head, there is nothing to slow the sweat from cascading directly into my eyes. That was a fairly serious issue on my thruhike and I never acknowledged it until now. Hats and bandanas helped, but this seems just the ticket. You betcha” 4:11:25 PM 7/31/09
