Evening News Ratings: Week of August 3
The first week in August brought a decrease across the board in evening news viewership that canceled out any small upward trend we'd seen recently out of the summer slump. Compared to the week prior, last week saw a decrease overall of 940K Total Viewers and 260K in the A25-54 demographic. NBC's "Nightly News" was once again the overall winner (by a 1.06M margin now), while ABC's "World News" has again cut the gap in the demo this time to 220K.

Total Viewers: NBC: 7,570,000 / ABC: 6,510,000 / CBS: 5,100,000

A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2,100,000 / ABC: 1,880,000 / CBS: 1,530,000
