LOL!

"Say mate, now that the camera is off, could you flip on the genny, crack open a John Henry and cook up some of those fresh boar steaks?"

Yep, sounds like several of my trips....only I don't have a camera crew or tourist wandering into the frame.

With a last name like that I figure he must be of WELSH extraction.

He's ok. It's better than watching another re-run of Deadliest Catch.

There's a bit of a battle between him and a guy called Ray Mears in the UK.

Ray Mears is a primitive skills expert, he teaches skills for long term survival, while Bear teaches what you can do until you reach the nearest road...(Which usually isn't to far distant).

Then again, if we do, we'll have to haul the empties and the coolers back to the truck.....

Getting eaten by alligators in NE AL is a constant source of fear in my life. Please.

The scenery of the lower part of Little River was nice. It's much prettier and more rugged upstream.

Jumping in that falls......right. I'm sure that wasn't scouted at all.

What was the whole point of going in the cave? Was he illustrating what not to do? The climb out was pretty neat though.

He wanders through a prescribed burn?

I liked seeing local terrain on TV and to illustrate that there are some nice things here, but that was an hour of comedy. I do wonder how much time is supposed to have passed. He has pork chops for supper and the next morning he eats a cricket, gets out of the cave and eats deer crap? Uhhhh, how about cooking some more of that boar. You've been playing up how the temps were below freezing....that meat wasn't bad yet.
