At hike

“Hey everyone its me again Chris on my last trip i was giving the trail name of sorrowsfeet by this guy i met and hike with luckylou ...Im going on another hike 2 actually im leaving sat am from stokes headin north to sunrise mt for the weekend and then again Fri heading south towards the gap wanted to know if anyone was interested in coming.The first trip i Have to be back by the lastest Tuesday but not really sure how long im gonna be out. The second trip on Friday is still up in the air as far as length of time and distance on that trip I have to be back the lastest is thursday :( im pretty much looking to get away clear my head for a bit but it would be nice to meet some people...let me know if anyones interested in joining me or meeting on the trail..i'll be checking back here through-out the course of the day and up until i leave tommorrow..

“hey all just got back from the first trip what a soggy one it rained the whole time out except for about 3 hrs..i hiked from 206 N to sunrise and then back down to Rattlesnake Mt and back to 206. It was fun except for in the morning i set up my stove to make some coffee went to get some water was gone about 20 min came back to find it missing...nowhere to be found...Who would steal someones stove like are you serious? and it being so wet it was so hard to find alittle bit of dry wood to make a fire to cook with ugh what a nightmare that was...But other than that it was a good trip..so now trying to get ready for trip # 2 cant wait to get back on the trail yay...

“nornally i would say glad that you had a good hike but in your case it sounds like you didn't,... too bad about the stove that really sucks i can't imagine who would do such a thing... on the bright side it sounds like you are off again next weekend for a hike so maybe that one will be better...

“with the exception of the stolen stove i did have a good trip the rain didnt dampin my spirts just the ground...i finally got the pack weight ratio just right for me ( about time lol) i finally stopped bring the hatchett you guys were right no need for it. lost the tent and now use a tarp.. dropped a pair of each set of clothes except for the socks so now down what i wear and a change of clothes plus an extra pair of socks...so all in all each tie out im gettin alittle better and smarter...boy have i came a long way since my first hike or disaster lol...so yeah looking forward to this next trip rain or shine stove or no stove im going and gonna try to keep a smile on my face”

“hey again update on trip #2 oh what a great trip!!! i started at 206 hike N the first day to anderson shelter to catch the sunset at sunrise rise magnifacent that night..next day headed south went all the way to kirkridge shelter and back to 206 was out 8 days nice easy pace avg 9 1/2 miles a day didn't get a chance to get a stove so had to do it the old fashion way not fun at all definitly gettin one before the next trip...but all in all had a great time i have a ton of photos when i get a chance i'll post them hope all is well later”
