“oh wait...yes he did.....He actually wore it first day and when we arrived in Nabesna to meet up with our Bush Pilot there were approx 10 hunters waiting to get air lifted out that day. Well when Jackstraw exited the truck you should have seen the look those guys gave. Hehehe...when I approached a young woman (whom I now know was one of the bush pilots wife) as I noticed her gaze and curious smile so I turned to look at what she was looking at and yep....Jackstraw and his wire hairy legs...honestly she asked me .........quote! is that a dude? I choked and laughed as I replied back....yep it sure is we picked him up hitch hikin!”

I often wondered what the bush pilot was thinking as he helped Jack straw into the back seat of his super cub all wearing that kilt as he bent over and mooned the pilot. hehehe.”

“Now that winter has gone get your self in shape for this trip. Mileage will be approx 5 to 8 miles a day in Alaska and that is equal to 10 to 16 miles on a trail. Ask those who have gone past year or before.
Tussock and silt quick sand along with stream crossings will tax your energy.
We do however have 20 hrs of daylight.

Hit the trails and sign up for the Cranberry trip if you can in May and lets talk Alaska.”

“well Ms Tango.....I don't plan on hiking 20 hrs but I do plan on getting at least 7 to 8 hrs sleep and if we average 1 mile an hr that's a good day in Alaska. Usual start time around 9am and usual stop time 4pm maybe 5 pm with several photo opps and lunch.

The earlier yous start the earlier you can be drinking Scotch at camp.
