The plane is made of paper, literally, I pushed on the skin of it and it flexes. It's the craziest thing you'll ever fly in but it was a lot of fun.”

“Hey are there trees around where we will be camping. Asking to decide if I bring my tarp or not.

My Guess is no and hiking poles are too low for setting up a tent imop.”

“No trees up high and some willows near streams and rivers. I use a tarp with sticks extended. Gives you plenty of set down room on a bear canister or pad. I have a 12 x 15 Spinn UL tarp. Big enough to accommodate all of us.

My wrist is decrepit and Fridge said I could go. you can alter your backpack to be a backpack/backbrace combo.

The Forest Service in Alaska has issued a BEAR WARNING in the national forests for this summer. They're urging everyone to protect themselves by wearing bells and carrying pepper spray. Maybe even a 44
Magnum

Campers should be alert for signs of fresh bear activity, and they should be able to tell the difference between Black Bear dung and Grizzy Bear dung.

Black Bear dung is rather small and round. Sometimes you can see fruit seeds and/or squirrel fur in it.

Grizzly Bear dung has bells & 44 magnums in it, and smells like pepper spray!”

“wounded knee the answer to your question is first year you pay the full price but after that a returning customer get big discounts and third year even bigger. I put in approx 1000 hrs of time on these trips and lots of my own money for cell phone rates and special gear like sat phone 1,600 dollars, Brunton solar panels to keep all equipment charged up, I did buy a super titan model Spinn UL tarp this year to use for all of us approx 360 bucks.....I did buy a couple weapons 44 magnums and will only take one with me cost approx 1000 bucks......

Since I cannot take money with me when I die, I'll use it the way I want to while I'm alive. Oh we do have room for you wounded knee just e mail me and I'll send you all the info.”
