“We have officially 13 of us going on this trip. Deposits have been paid and flights to Anchorage have been booked.

Approx 20 miles of Backpacking in 4 days. Some of the best views you will encounter in your life. No trails, No roads to cross, No darkness, No shelters or privies. Pure Wilderness. WRANGELL-ST.ELIAS game preserve and they mean it when they say game preserve. You will see more scat and animal signs than you have ever seen on a backpacking trip, so don't bother to bury your scat....it will just be a part of the system and smell... uh... I meant fit right in.
Silver Back Grizz, Caribou, Moose, Wolves, Arctic ground squirrels, Eagles. You will see many wild flowers like no place you have ever seen.”

Did you mean to write "outside his tent" or "inside the Polar Pear"? I just want to be thuroughly informed about the native patrons that frequent the high class establishments we will be attending.”

“two of the three bars I went to in new orleans had servere mold problems. they solved this by keeping the lighting really really dim. i think my new orleans bar experiences will help me in creating rapor in the Polar Bear. (I'm extrapolating using the information about the Polar Bear brought up in previous posts)”

“last weekend i wore boots that had fit well for the last 3 years but apparently i should write that they "fitted but no longer" bc my big toe on my rt foot looks like a clear waterballoon connected to a petrified prune. any ideas on cures so its WVa ready by Friday?”

Just a leisure stroll through a Black Bear sanctuary with river crossings that have strong potential to flood after little rain and critters that crawl and wind through the forest. Oh yea Also some flesh eating plants are found throughout the bog fields so please try and remember that as I have no control over those critter plants.”

“We had bogs in northern MN where I grew up. They were fun to play on. Like a big trampoline almost. Till you fell through and were never seen again :) It's kinda like falling through the ice but but nastier and smellier but warmer.”
