camping near Rapid City South Dakota ?

“I will be headed through Rapid City South Dakota mid October.Are there any good State Parks or National Forests worth camping in that area.I`ve looked up a few spots but didn`t find the info. that helpful.Thanks in advance .....Shaun.”

anyways, black hills nf, wind cave state park, badlands np are 3 prime spots

“Thanks Crash bang,but you do make me laugh.I`ve had Americans ask me where Ontario is.I met an American in British Columbia who told me she was going to drive to Toronto Ontario for the weekend to see the CN tower,and I had a American lady in Ohio ask me since I was from Canada did I know her friend Megan from Alaska.....hmmmmm . The all time favourite is the guys bringing their snowmobiles up here in July asking where the snow is,happens every summer !......Have a great day.”

“Helinka : No,but after some fiddling around with it and lying in it,it didn`t seem to stress the seams as bad as I thought.I`m going to try it out this weekend on the Bruce Peninsula.
