“im leaving the 29th or 30th and heading north on the AT to cherry flats then to frog level then up pond mtn connect with AT and head south to dennis cove coon den falls and back to 19e im getting my truck worked on and my mechanic is on 19e near tr head.so a good excuse to walk. should be around 50 miles or so. 3304653741 if ya wanna go, many creek crossings on laurel fork tr.your feet will get wet for sure .I use water shoes it is knee deep many places.hollar”

“hope somone can make it I may me scared out there by myself.leave tues morning and hike to bitter end then cross over to cherryflats and camp along the laurel fork.this tr is flat and crosses the creek several times on your way to frog level.at this point plans can be changed with 3 options.1 go up forest rd to pond mtn tr and connect back with AT.2 take laurel fork to dennis cove coon den falls back to AT.3 go up lacy trapp back to AT.most of this hike is along the old railroad grade.so if your able come along or you can park and join from many spots”
