MAY 29th - MAY 31st
CRANBERRY GLADES WEST VA
http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/mnf/sp/cranberry_glades.html

Meet Friday night May 28th or come in very early Sat the 29th by 9am at the Big Beechy Trail head along scenic route 150.
Hike in approx 2 tenths mile and you will come to a field on the right, we will be there, you cannot miss us.
Those who need to leave on Sunday May 30th can easily do this trip and be out by Afternoon at the same trail head.
Those who cannot get there until later on Saturday can park at another trail head and walk in approx 2 1/2 miles to where we will be camped on the Big Beechy Middle Fork intersection...you cannot miss us. I have detailed maps I can send you via e mail.

There will be some river crossings so we can practice all those river crossing techniques, Bear protocol, Gear talk and meet the Alaska team members.

This is a very easy trip with Saturday at 6 miles being the biggest day. Bring your sandles or foot wear you plan on using to cross those Glacier streams in Alaska and your gear and lets talk about this trip and get to know each other.

I have a detailed map to get you to our location, all you need to do is e mail me and I'll send it on.

This is a Black Bear sanctuary so we will be using Bear practices.
