Adventure Hiking Trail (9/16-9/18 2009)

“I'm going down to O'Bannon Woods to hike parts of the AHT with a buddy of mine. Anyone here is welcome to join up.

I had heard awhile back that the trail was pretty much a mess with blowdowns everywhere. Have they cleaned it up?”

“no idea.. i need to call down there about the ohio overlook shelter.. read somewhere where it may have been burnt? couldn't tell when that was written though.. blowdowns, i'm not too worried.. there are horse trails everywhere there.. one can find a way, i'm sure. partially i'm not worried because i wasn't planning on a death march here.
