Catskill NY base camp info

“looking to do a few days in the Catskills but I was hoping to have a base camp. Any suggestions?”

“car camping? Woodland Valley is a good place. If it is no longer open and you need a place, there are free sites along rt 28 north west of phoenicia. There is always that spot where we camped in April.”

“I am trying to remember what it is called. I would go with the place where we camped in april before I went to the free sites on Rt 28. They are not that far off the road and you would have to listen to all the traffic on Rt 28. The camp sites are on the same map as the place where we camped in april.”
