What else do we need to hear from Gremmypoo, eh?

He'll be there, unlike some other peteple, he never bails. ;)

Hey thanks, zac. Someone has to make sure that MarkO and Gremlin don't get lost in the woods. I will get 'em there.

Send one to Gremlin while you're at it.

Euro, you will be my light in the darkness.......my fog horn in the mist.

Hee-hee!

Some of the guys are more like fog horns.

MarkO, I'd send you a map, but you wouldn't follow it anyway. ;-)

My, my... I have less than a week to get everything ready for this trip. I am getting very nervous. Last night I woke up and couldn't sleep anymore, because I was worried about all the things and essential gear I might forget. Considering the fact that I have to borrow half of the equipment from MarkO and Gremlin there is a huge potential to screw up.

Euro, we gotta talk. You need to learn some respect for the elderly (and the experienced).

Euro, just give Gremlin a bottle of Merlot and you should be able to take all of his gear.

coco...we usually end up doing the peak on Saturday, since a lot of people hike out on Sunday. Some years, it varies, but that has been the norm.

I am going up Friday late-afternoon to get settled in at camp....hike all day Sat and maybe Sunday too, if others are game. I like to hike out with the group when possible....we usually do a nice breakfast all together and it is quality family time. :)

Amy, probably heading up early Sat AM, but really looking for some more snow to play in.

Might end up at back in the Whites at Lonesome Lake and snowshoe Cannon Mtn instead. Yankee Beech and I have Monday off.

Are you sled dogs really going to drag your sleds in the dirt?
Marko
5:45:00 PM
2/08/10

Good question. I got my sled out of the shed because I just might need it for the extra gear I'm bringing Euro, but if there's not enough snow we'll need a plan B.

MY ETA Friday is between 14:00 and 15:00.

We should be all right among the three of us.

I don't have a lot of time - my buddy and I are off to cut up some road kill.

Euro's flight was cancelled and she has booked a flight to-morrow. What with the conditions in Baltimore this is a good thing as it gives MarkO (and me) an extra day. Unless there are further changes we should meet at railhead Saturday noon.

Please see my Tee shirt thread.

Driving the ice road in a RAV4 was probably not the smartest move I've ever made. Good thing I am such an exceptional driver.
;)

My computer is acting up and I can't get my pics together, so hopefully some other slacker will post a TR???

Another great trip...thanks everyone. This trip has almost become like a yearly family reunion.
