Post Thanksgiving Death March

“I know it would be quite a drive for most of you, but I am looking at doing a two night trip in Death Valley leaving Friday November 27 (the day after thanksgiving) and coming back Sunday the 29th. If the weather cooperates, I think we will go back to Panamint City (you can see my trip report on here... maybe, I am not able to find it anymore since the site went all broken and stuff), base camp there, and spend the extra day either bagging a peak in the Panamints or looking for pictographs (which are all over the place), then hike out Sunday morning. It is about 7 pretty steep uphill miles to get in, and we would be on the western side of Death Valley (near the town - and I use the term loosely - of Panamint Springs). All are welcome to join. Just let me know.”
