How about the Cumberlands???

“Hey All,

I got from 12/26/09 to the AM of 12/31/2009 to do some hiking!!

I can’t go too far south cause I gotta be back in Chicago land by New Years eve.
(Oh Gooddy!!)

I was thinking about going someplace in the Cumberland’s other than the Big South Fork.

A loop would be great, but I guess an out and back don’t sound too bad either!!

Any ideas???

“How about Savage Gulf or Fiery Gizzard? They are both nice areas on the plateau. What kind of mileage are you wanting to do per day?”

“Or, the Cumberland Trail, many choices to choose from.”

“You could hike all the trails in Savage Gulf in that time.”

The gap sounds cool as well as Savage Gulf!!
I know how to get to the gap, but where is Savage Gulf??
