Ok FYAO is only days away, and there hasn't been a significant snowfall in the eastern Adirondacks since early December. Everyone start doing some snow dances. FYAO needs more than 4 inches of snow.

You mean, all the news we get about the US East Coast drowning in recordbreaking amounts of snow are a hoax?!

It's no hoax Euro, it's just all the snow has been hitting too far south and east of the Adirondacks.

Five Feet!?!?

No, it was only 20 to 30 inches.
My boys and I shovelled about 70 yards of alley and I feel like I've been worked over with a whoopin' stick.

We are due another 10 inches of snow tomorrow.

I feel your pain, Zac.

Looks like we're forecasting about 6-12 inches here in southern Michigan. Really bummed that I sprained my ankle a few weeks ago, so I won't be able to go snow shoeing! ;-P

I think that's even more than we've gotten. We're in a "snow drought."

As long as you're not flying to Baltimore you should be OK.

We have officially broken the all-time record for snowfall this year. Previous #1 winter had about 53 inches, this one will be over 70.

LOL @ Gremlin.

Yeah, Vancouver can have our snow, too.

Cartoon on the editorial page in this morning's paper has two angels on a cloud. One on the right dumping a barrel of snow, the other on the left saying, "No, Vancouver is over here."

FWIW. This is the THIRD year in a row that we've exceeded average snowfall.

Perhaps we should try the Saskatchewan approach and build a ski slope with all our trash to attract the Winter Olypmics, seeing we can't get the Summer Games!

I was working in Westchester County yesterday. They have at least 12" of now down there. Up by me, we don't even have an inch. How is this even fair?

Snow maps say the FYAO location has between 4 and 8 inches.
