No Sadly Vile it is the left that is REALLY upset (LOL). You guys expected a ZANU style take over...with redistribution etc. Instead you have a leader (if we can call it that) who waffles more than Jimuh Catah ever did.

OH man...insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results...

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/02/24/cnn-poll-health-care-provisions-popular-but-overall-bills-unpopular/?fbid=uItdCuag-Jx

Twenty-five percent of people questioned in the poll say Congress should pass legislation similar to the bills passed by both chambers, with 48 percent saying lawmakers should work on an entirely new bill and a quarter saying Congress should stop all work on health care reform.

PrezBO needs to switch to fighting the Global Warming thing...

This gives me great pleasure. As enamored as you guys were Barry and seeing this is the best response you can muster shows he has disappointed you much greater than he could ever upset me. Why as in love as you all were with him leading up to the election you'd think the list of his accomplishments would just spring out onto the page for you and the list would flow on and on. But we get "He upset you jerkoffs.". Bawhahahahaha!

Come on V, set your soul free. Admit you elected Bush 2.0 and you got fvcked on you Hope and Change. Just say it. You can do it....

U.S.'s fourth-quarter economic growth rate revised upward

A continuing turnaround from the Great CONSERVATIVE recession.
InconvenientTruth
6:03:39 AM
2/26/10

from the AP report on this ...

Roughly two-thirds of last quarter's growth came from a burst of manufacturing -- but not because consumer demand was especially strong. In fact, consumer spending weakened at the end of the year, even more than the government first thought.

Instead, factories were churning out goods for businesses that had let their stockpiles dwindle to save cash. If consumer spending remains lackluster as expected, that burst of manufacturing -- and its contribution to economic activity -- will fade.

The signs aren't hopeful. Consumer confidence took an unexpected dive in February.

Unemployment stands at 9.7 percent. Home foreclosures are at record highs. And many Americans are still having trouble getting loans.

Forecasters at the National Association for Business Economics predict the economy will expand at only a 3 percent pace in the first quarter of this year. The next two quarters should log similar growth, they predict.

Unlike past rebounds driven by the spending of shoppers, this one is hinging more on spending by businesses and foreigners.

Stronger spending by businesses and foreigners contributed to the bump-up in economic growth in the fourth quarter. So did the fact that companies stopped slashing their stockpiles of goods.

During the worst of the recession, companies cut inventories at record rates.

How were we looking when Obama took office. What was the economic situation then?
InconvenientTruth

2/26/10

The economic situation when Obama took office sucked (although not nearly as bad as it is now) ... it sucked due to the socialistic policies that have been enacted by every President since LBJ. This "save me mommy government that has unlimited resources" mentality is not sustainable, even by the greatest country on the planet.

Come on, that's a lie isn't it.

It was conservative failure. Bush tried to be a pure and true conservative. But then the real world happened and suddenly, under the slightest pressure from a puff of reality, it all came tumbling down.

Conservative policies fail. Then conservative run around making excuses and blaming others so they don't have to question their ideology.

It's like a creationist stumbling across a fossil. The excuses flow thick and fast.

Have you not been paying any attention for the past 10 years.

Tax cuts for the wealthy.
Virtually no regulation of the market
Pure belief in the market as the solution to all that ails.
The attempt to move privatize social security

Just because some of them failed or he failed to put him through politically doesn't mean he wasn't a conservative.

There's a lot of similarities between fundamentalist Marxists and fundamentalist conservatives.

When you point out to Marxists that it has been an abject failure, they make the excuse that it failed because it wasn't properly applied.

Same for conservatives.

Oh I nearly forgot. Obama acted to continue the actions of the Bush team to prevent the total collapse of the United States financial system - a legacy of the conservative failure.

We'd be in a great depression by now if he hadn't. Probably be looking at similar unemployment levels to the 1930s.

Washington (CNN) – A majority of Americans think the federal government poses a threat to rights of Americans, according to a new national poll.

Fifty-six percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Friday say they think the federal government's become so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens. Forty-four percent of those polled disagree.

The survey indicates a partisan divide on the question: only 37 percent of Democrats, 63 percent of Independents and nearly 7 in 10 Republicans say the federal government poses a threat to the rights of Americans.

According to CNN poll numbers released Sunday, Americans overwhelmingly think that the U.S. government is broken - though the public overwhelmingly holds out hope that what's broken can be fixed.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted February 12-15, with 1,023 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey's sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points for the overall survey.

Rastaman's Tranquility Bay or GITMO?
Cindy, Ashley, and Mike had some time alone together. While they were down at the beach an activity Mike said they are never allowed to do during his stay at Tranquility Bay - Mike told Cindy that children were being abused there - that the boy with the full jaw plate in his mouth had his upper left jaw shattered. He had been pinned down on the floor by several staff and was smacked in the face with staffs walkie-talkies. According to Mike, staff claimed that during the restraint the boys face bounced off the floor, breaking his jaw. The American Embassy said there is a pending investigation into this incident. Mike said injured kids are taken away from the facility when the Embassy comes for a visit (it is important to note he is not the first teen to say this we at CAICA have heard this complaint numerous times at a number of WWASPS facilities).

Mike talked about medical neglect. He complained to staff that he was having difficulties breathing and he thought his nose was broken, but staff called him a liar telling him nothing was wrong. It took them weeks to get him to a doctor.

or

He pulled up his shirt and Cindy saw bruising on his shoulders, under his armpits, and on his back. Cindy also saw another boy looking through the glass who had a metal plate in his mouth. Other parents witnessed this as well.
http://tranquilitybayabuse.blogspot.com/

he was put in "observation placement," in which he and other new students were forced to lie on their stomachs for more than eight hours a day for days on end with only brief moments to stand and stretch. The goal was to break the will of the teens, he said.

When Brown resisted by standing up to stretch without permission, the staff jumped on him, he said. At least five muscular staff members subdued him, twisting his arms behind his back past the point where his wrists touched his shoulders, Brown said.

The staff then used the pepper spray, he said.

Brown estimated such attacks occurred three times a day and for as long as three or four months.

During that time, the teens were forced to defecate and urinate in black garbage bags tied around their waists like diapers, Brown said. Staff members dragged Brown across the cement floor facedown, resulting in a chipped tooth and scars on his shoulders, knees and chin, he said.

One staff member used a hard-bristle toilet brush to "scrub" his body and genitals, he said.
