Adena Trace

“Dang it, due to the trips page being down I have to post this. I believe there was a trip to Adena Trace this weekend, and as it's about an hour from home it would be ridiculous for me not to attend. I just need to make sure of some basic facts. The TH is here

and all I need to know is what direction we're traveling in. I believe the initial group will be a mile in already so I shouldn't be to far behind, but I'd hate to start hiking the wrong direction.”

“Hey Silent J, We're planning to hike in the Deam this weekend because of the heat. It's supposed to be close to 90 on Saturday.

Here's the info:

Deam Wilderness
Meet at TH past Blackwell at 10am. We will hike back to Lake Monroe, and camp off of the Peninsula Trail somewhere. I posted the new hike on Facebook, because this website goofed-up. Are you on Facebook? Sorry, for the sudden change, but didn't want to do big miles in 90 degrees.”

The changes to the trip sound good. The trace trail is actually closer to me, and I never realized it, but I don't mind taking it easy at Deam. I can drag my son along that way. I can't guarantee I'll be up in time to make the TH by 10am since I'll probably be working late, so don't wait up for me if I'm not on time. I'll be there though.”
