I'm pleased to announce the 2nd edition of "Hiking the Endless Mountains" is published. Of all the books I've written, I may be the most proud of this one. It is a huge improvement over the 1st edition with 16 color photos, GPS coordinates on about half the maps, and more dayhikes and backpacking hikes. It is about 100 pages longer.

I was driven to write a new edition to showcase some really beautiful places in the Endless Mountains. I wanted people to be aware what was out there with the hope those places would be preserved. You can't protect what you don't know. As we all know, the region is facing a lot of natural gas development.

This book also reveals all my secrets, I held nothing back. All those hours bushwhacking and hiking, in the heat and cold, getting tired, wet, and sore, was more than worth it. I saw so many waterfalls, gorges, crystal clear mountain streams, and beautiful forests, the experience was unforgettable.

And now the cycle is complete. This title, published in 2003, was my first book. I now plan to take some time off from writing another book.”
