4:11:27 PM 9/30/11 “Fridge, some of us stovies met in Oregon a month ago and a couple of the guys from the MSR stove group camped with us a few nights and gave a nice presentation and talk about the new stoves with a live firing, plus demonstrated a few stoves that did not make it into production, one a stove for the military who ended up buying some of their other proven stoves. Very nice of them, plus they left plenty of goodies for all who went. Very nice of MSR. One of the group captured a video which with MSR's permission was distributed to a few members who went, with the understanding to not pass it on as these were prototypes at the moment, awaiting government approval to sell. If I had the need, I would get one of MSR's Reactor stoves. Duane” 7:47:03 AM 10/01/11 “Cool! Thanks, Mike. HJ” 8:40:53 PM 10/03/11 “As a follow up to the above post, I've added a lot of MSR Whisperlite Universal photos and a link to a full review of the Whisperlite Universal on Seattle Backpacker's Magazine's website. HJ” 5:24:19 PM 10/24/11 “Thanks. Good stuff!” 5:43:14 PM 10/24/11 “You're welcome. Hopefully between the photos on my blog and the review on Seattle Backpacker's Magazine, you can get a good sense of the stove. HJ” 1:20:43 PM 10/25/11
