Smokies Hike for Thanksgiving

“Possibly coming to the Smokies area Thanksgiving weekend. Looking to do an easy-to-moderate trip Fri-Sun. Details to be hammered out.”

Cosby Knob (11/22)
Pecks Corner (11/23)
Mt. Collins (11/24)
Derrick Knob (11/25)
Mollies Ridge (11/26)

Each shelter had 1-2 spots left open as well.
Hit one of the shelters and hang out one night, do part of the thru, or do da whole damn thing with me. One requirement if you out and in to a shelter i'm at.......bring a cheeseburger!”

“We did the same loop a few months before you guys. We started up Bote Mtn around 2pm, still had snow over the trail the last mile to Spence, and it got dark on us. The next day over thunderhead wasn't too bad though.”
