Mink Hollow QuestionView MessagesViewing posts 1 to 10 of 10 messages posted.
Mink Hollow Woods Road “Does anyone know if the woods road at the end of mink hollow road is accessable by Jeep? How close does it get to the Mink Hollow Lean-to? We want to make a winter base-camp with all the frills near there for hiking in the area. Even if we could drop off the gear and park the car back at the lot, we'd be fine, just need to know how far in it goes.” 12:03:45 PM 11/12/11 “for those of us that don't have a clue where Mink Hollow is - its part of the Devil's Path in the Catskills - see http://adrianpayeur.com/Devil_s_Path.html” 2:03:49 PM 11/12/11 “Lol, thanks HOI.... I hadn't a clue. I figured up north somewhere since we have no mink down here. Guess Tim Earnst doesn't do books for the Catskills” 3:09:04 PM 11/12/11 “My grampa trapped mink years ago, so we certainly had mink in MS.” 8:21:26 PM 11/12/11 “If you hang around the beach when the recently divorced women roll in and start sucking down margaritas, you will discover you still have mink in Mississippi. Just sayin.....” 3:43:16 PM 11/13/11 “Lol, I rekin you got a point there” 4:20:49 PM 11/13/11 “The Mink Hollow lean to is on a HIKING path. Backpackers WALK there. Any 4 wheel drive tracks are for SAR or ranger use not for recreational jeeps. If you want to drive to a base camp I recommend a motel, and leave the lean to space for those who have carried their gear in. It is about 3 miles from the South and barely 1 mile from the North.” 3:02:21 PM 11/14/11 “Backpackers WALK there. You have never been to a TT drunkfest have you? LOL” 5:22:51 PM 11/14/11 “Actually I have Artex, Pennsy (pee in the Spring), Corporal and other on the Devils Path hike. All walked in, Several had libation.” 4:31:05 AM 11/15/11 9:50:36 AM 11/15/11
