Thirty-six years ago, as former President Richard M. Nixon dodged grand jury questions about his illegal wiretapping of political enemies, he briefly referenced a dark secret about his 1968 campaign’s sabotaging of Vietnam War peace talks, actions which President Lyndon Johnson at the time privately labeled “treason.”

President Johnson labeled as treason??

You mean the bastard that said " We are not about to send American boys 9 or 10 thousand miles away from home to do what Asian boys ought to be doing for themselves. ".
The President Johnson that said our ship was attacked in the Gulf of Tokin when it wasn't, also claimed the USS Liberty wasn't attacked when it was, and covered up the damage. That President Johnson should be dug from his grave and his head put on a stick lest we forget.

...from the story:
“We’ve had 24 hours of relative peace,” Johnson said. “If Nixon keeps the South Vietnamese away from the [peace] conference, well, that’s going to be his responsibility. Up to this point, that’s why they’re not there. I had them signed onboard until this happened.”

24 hours of relative peace? Looking to blame anyone else.. Johnson started the war, the South Vietnamese were on our side yet Johnson blames Nixon because he can't persuade them to do what he wants. What a scumbag! ...don't get me started..

November 24, 1963 - President Johnson declares he will not "lose Vietnam" during a meeting with Ambassador Lodge in Washington.

President Kennedy's body isn't cold yet and he's decided to escalate the war...when he promised he wouldn't. ..and somehow they try to pin this total quagmire on Nixon? That gets the revisionist history award of all time!
