Stove of the Week: The Trangia 27
I've been working like a fiend lately, but I've been making time on Saturdays to get out with my daughter.

I've been taking along my Trangia 27.

My hope is that my Trangia 27 is stable enough that my daughter won't knock it over and get burned. She's fairly cautious by nature, but I'd still hate for there to be an accident. Hopefully, I'm being safe enough for my daughter.

My daughter has authorized me to endorse the product in her name, but she seems to be endorsing the product just fine without me. ;)

As is my habit, I've written up the Trangia 27 on my blog. Please join me for another Adventure in Stoving, this time with the Stove of the Week, the Trangia 27.

That is nice. It prolly uses much less fuel than the whitebox. I didn't see what it weighed..

Cute kid. How much can she carry?

How much can she carry? Wrong question. The question is "how far can daddy carry her?" lol.

I didn't put down the weight. My stove is pretty old and was manufactured in the late 70's or later, but before 1988 when they modified the design. My stove is a heavier stove because they've now changed the alloy and made the stove lighter. I'd go check out http://Trangia.se and see what they've got. There are so many configurations that listing the weight is kind of irrelevant unless you know exactly which configuration you're discussing.

I keep wondering what the stove of the week is...

looking at his blog it would appear that the stove of the week is a Sidewinder version of the Ti-Tri Caldera Cone in wood burning mode
