Vote for funding for trail bridges

“West of Waterford Ont. the conversion of the LE&N trestle to a safe pedestrian crossing is nearing completion. The railings are being installed this week. This is the final link in the Trans Canada Trail between Branford and Simcoe. In Simcoe the Lynn Valley Trail completes a connection to Port Dover on the north shore of Lake Erie. Soon pedestrians and cyclists will be able to ride across this trestle and use the new lookouts for a fantastic view of the ponds and town of Waterford.
Our next project is to construct a trail and park on the former CASO right of way to link the downtown core of Waterford to the trail. Check out the project at this link and while there vote for us.
