I want your old GPS

“Getting a new GPS with all the bells and whistles for Christmas? I would like to buy your old one.

What do you have for sale?”

“Garmin GPS 60csx...what are you offering.”

“How old is it?”

“got it in 2009. Have the cable, software and beltclip. On Amazon for $289 new, $250 on ebay. I'll take $200 and shipping.”

“I have an old Lowrance 11 sat. deal, I compressed it too hard in my pack in the 90's and it hasn't worked since. Make me an offer for a fixer upper..lol.”

“I might just send you my Oregon 450t. It's far too complicated for me; all I need is an Etrex, or someone who can show me how to use it (prolly a kid).”

“I have been looking at the Oregon 450. How old is it?”

“It's brand new. I have a friend that owns a mining company that operates (mostly) in Mexico and here in Québec. He got a bunch, but his geologists don't want them; they use the big jobs like the ones the military use. He sold me one for what he paid - 300 CAD (as opposed to 449 USD - the best internet price my son could find).

Now, however, I need to learn how to use it. I plan to take a course early in the New Year.”
