“Stratd00d and 1camper .The land area of Kamchatka is about four times that of Florida. Even Russians were not allowed in most of Kamchatka during that period. It was a missile testing impact area. We could not fish in the Russian waters. So I was looking for and tracking incoming missiles, The work was under the unratified SALT-II Treaty.

..oh duh, you said Valley of the Geysers.. sounds really cool. Seems like a lot good hiking destinations there..
