I got a letter from my rugrat, turned Army brat! Guess what he wanted me to bring him? Well,,,,hummm,, you`re not very good at this guessing thing, are you? I`ll just go ahead and tell you. He wanted me to bring him his North Face hat and coat, his backpacking magzines, new and old and any threads I can copy off for him. He has got it bad, cute kid! We sent him a clip from our local paper about an accident caused by an alligator, over 11 feet long being run over over. It turned out that two cars were involved in the accident. As they were hauling off the second bunch of people, they saw a man crawling up to the road`s edge, he was all messed up. Turns out he was a bit ahead of the other car and he hit it first. To make a long story short, now I think of doing that,, he said he showed it to all the guys in his bunch, because they are the Alph Gators. He shared the TT pages I sent to him and has the bunch of them ready to go, the first time they can get the time. He said he`d get the rest of his gear when he came in for the hollidays. They all want more Trail Talks stuff, my son told them he had the slowest modem on Earth. Me!”

Before this discussion gets too far down a different road, we are asking individuals, or friends of these individuals, to send us information on the packs stolen. We would like to know approximately when (day and hour) the theft took place, approximately where in the campground or other area it took place, and the approximate value of the items stolen.

Also if other items were stolen, such as cameras (we know of at least three), please provide the same information.

We would like the trail name of the person who got robbed, but this is not necessary. This information will be confidential. If there seem to be duplications we will try to resolve these.
