Darwin awards are reserved for those that remove themselves from the gene pool, either by demise or inability to procreate.

While idiot misadventures are funny and may deserve a thread, their stories are off topic here.

Some gay marriages may belong here.

Saw this on FB today...

This is what happens when you tamp the ground too hard over your improvised explosive device (IED). The attached video of thermal footage was recorded from an AC-130 gunship from a mile or more away. No rounds were fired by the aircraft. Some jihadists were trying to bury an IED made from a 155mm artillery shell. Evidently, they lost the instruction manual. Problem resolved with no US intervention.

WTF does any of that have to do with the fact a woman was mauled and killed by a bear?

Did I completely miss something? Was the bear's actions a result of the current adminstrations policies?

Let me explain it in terms even the two of you ought to understand....

Tragically, this woman died while being eaten alive by a bear. Granted her stupidity was a factor, but it doesn't lessen the value of her life.

Whether Obama, Bush, or the Pope himself was President wouldn't have any effect on the situation.

God, I would absolutely hate to be in position where I was so miserable with my life that I had to take the road the two of you are on.

chili36, Obama's healthcare advisor supports a healthcare system where people above a certain age are denied life-saving coverage, and instead, are given death counseling. His science advisor also supports that. This lady was old. Under Obama's care, she needs to die anyways to save us money.

Well sadly enough I have to concede I can't explain it in terms the two of you can understand.

I am lead to believe that would be impossible.

Stove and HPD were obviously the challenged, unliked kids at school who received attention by be fukups. And, they continue the behavioral pattern today, as displayed on trail talk. Sophmoric comments, everything's a lame joke, all actions an attempt to make themselves the center of attention. It's classic material for adult abnormal behavior 101.

You've done an excellent job alienating just about everyone on here.

I can't help but wonder what sort of personality shift happened when you had your stroke, since people react to you on here, like you are a different person or maybe more of an a-hole than you used to be? Or maybe, you just became angry and resentful over your situation and have opted to take that out on others?

It's not a very pleasant way to be, Stovie.

Sorry for the misdiagnosis, Stove. You're suffering from gaping, giant a-hole syndrome. Your symptoms are that the shyt never stops flowing outta ya.

I've noticed that large people put additional importance on being "cumfy" (oh how I hate that slang term).

They tend to be more interested in wearing slippers or things that are "cozy". It's like they tend to lack discipline and excuse their behavior that they deserve to be comfortable. (although, I suspect that's just a defensive excuse)

Perhaps it's a thing where they are more sensitive to physical feelings of comfort (as with comfort food).

Crash...I am so with you on this. But as a libertarian I prefer laws that "limit" damages to laws that mandate wearing of belts.

I would prefer to see laws that say "Hey wear it if you want, but if you are not wearing it we will limit the payments for your injuries."

Make it limited to even the amount of disability you can get.

I many states you must wear a seat belt, but a motorcycle rider doesn't have to wear a helmet. Where's the logic there?
