For unto Joy and Hyper a child is born!

“The day finally arrived. This morning at 810am est Abigail Kathleen was born by cesaerean section. She weighs 8lbs 4 oz and is 20 inches long. She has a full head of 1 inch long black hair, and has inherited Joys looks not mine,whew! I would offer more detail but I havent slept in 29 1/2 hrs. What a precious gift we recieved today!”

Sounds like you both went through a long labor and then a caesarian. After more than 14 years I remember that ordeal clearly (whereas the brand new Mom who did the real work and experienced the pain, is thankful for a fuzzier memory)... but not nearly as often as I think of the wonderful blessing that lay at the end (and which is still unfolding).”
