I think you cheated by staying in a lodge, but it is a nice way to go, especially on cold winter days. I enjoy doing that also. It's nice to be absolutely comfortable. The lodge views look nice.”

“yea, we used a cheap camera.. one of those disposable ones. But some of the pics turned out pretty good despite the poor equipment.

Cheated by staying in a lodge? Well that all depends on what the goal was. Sitting by a fireplace with no phones, radios, tv's, looking out our patio window at a prestine lake. Make wild, passionate love with my wife for hours each day... drinking homemade espresso stout.

Though we did do day hikes... this one hike in particular was kinda a waste. We drove the 2 hr drive down this narrow, pot-holey road to get the trailhead. But to hike the trail, we had to ford this river. Well, the river didn't want to be forded at that time of the year. Other than that, the hikes around the area were beautiful.”
