Rattlesnake Canyon

“Has anyone been hiking in or near Rattlesnake Canyon near the Colorado Nat'l Monument? I want to know if you need a 4 wheel drive to get close enough to hike or if a regular chevy suburban could get within a couple miles of the trailhead. Any info appreciated!!”

“Aren?t most chevy suburbans 4 wheel drive?”

“We are city folk who use it for city commuting except for a few weeks a year out west...oops..use it for hauling in deer season, too.”
