I am planning on putting on the x-c skis and breaking some trail. gooood times :o)” 6:17:54 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “It's cloudy here gonna rain I think” 6:23:25 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “We have a winter storm watch. Freezing rain now over about six inches of powder from last night. More snow tonight and plunging temps. Have a blast -- full moon outings are intoxicating.” 6:25:52 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Beer, bowling, and Galyans with Rad. THE freaks are OUT!” 6:29:33 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “AmyG, sounds like fun. Give the moon a howl for me :{}” 6:34:28 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Gonna be cloudy and snowy here tonight. Even if I had XC skis with me, I wouldn't have anywhere to go. D'oh. Have fun AmyG!” 6:50:15 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “full moon on snow....sounds heavenly.... no snow here, but mild and clear, i usually sleep out in the hammock on full moons....i will think about you "leepin and hoppin on the moonshadows!" enjoy!” 7:27:04 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “I'm gonna go hang out with Amy. Sure as Hell beats sitting around here rotting my brain on TT. I got no Snowshoes but I'm gonna strap two tennis rackets to my feet. WAIT UP AMY!!!!” 7:39:47 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “I x-country skied by moonlight last night at Lackawanna State Forest. Plan to go at night again next week even though the moon won't be full. A headlamp works just fine.” 8:02:33 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Its too damn cold here tonight but.... The Space Shuttle and the Station just cruised overhead chasin each other. It was cool!” 9:56:34 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Amy m'gal, I'll think of you skiing through the moonlit trees while I look out the window in my warm living room! It's -20C tonight & I'm stayin' indoors!!! BTW, did you know that -32F &-32C are the same on a thermometer? Whatever way you happen to measure, that's d@amn cold! Brrrrr..... Have fun!! :-)” 10:42:27 PM 2/08/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “I'll be takin' to the trail tomorrow night under a Winter Storm Warning. Snow level is supposed to be about 1000' and the trailhead is at 980'. Hopefully there will be some clearing and I can hike by the light of the moon.” 2:10:22 AM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “It`s not that far at all, as the crow can fly and I love to walk at night with light in the sky up a mountain pass, going in and out of the trees with a hint of more snow, on a midnight breeze oh, I haven`t been in a while, but I`d love to real soon I`d love to share the night, with the light of a silvery moon” 2:24:25 AM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Dang! I should be out there... but I'm not. Maybe I'll go for a run on the beach later. 8-)” 3:09:07 AM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Well, it got a bit overcast, giving the moon a sort of haze around it, a faintly-tinged reddish halo. Making tracks is hard work! I think I only went about a mile in before plunking down in the snow. LOL Then, I just sat there for a bit and listened to the creek, slightly raging with recent snowmelt. >sigh< Very nice eve. :o)” 7:57:21 AM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “After a date with the Sunday Night Football Club night before last, I drove the last 3-1/2 miles home w/o headlights. Then, me and Belle played "gimme dat" into the wee hours. It was incredibly bright. I'm with you vicariously, Aim. Hey - I've been there... I can close my eyes and see you and Patchy and the trail and the creek and the bridge and yer "plunk" (o; goooooooood times!” 9:15:21 AM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Things that go "plunk" in the night.” 7:27:08 PM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “awww, thanks gojo...I posted a new pic of the bridge on photopoint(see 'snowball fight' thread) uhhh, sorry to hear about yer lost finger. I guess she won the "gimme dat" game, finally. bad sarabelle, baaaad. gigglegiggle” 8:35:27 PM 2/09/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “Had a gorgeous late night run on the beach last night under the full moon. I had to bundle up because it was pretty cold, but this is still southern California so "cold" is a relative term. I can't complain -- if I did, I think many of you from the colder climes might track me down and kill me! 8-)” 4:05:52 AM 2/10/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “I loved that bright night. I went out Monday night, Tuesday night, and Wendsday night. It was so great! The air was in the 50's so you could push yourself without sweating too bad, and since the moon was so bright, almost all travel was across country and off trail. OK, so we were doing patrolling training with the soldiers, but it was so fun, it wasn't like work. I love this job!” 8:35:06 AM 2/10/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “The stage was already set up and the wind was blowing a very lively tune and I got lost in the moment as I danced by the light of the silvery moon and up and down and all about the shadows just begain to sway and I was caught in a trance as the shadows moved that way and thinking about it right now makes me want to go again real soon and all of a sudden I want to dance by the light of a silvery moon” 1:33:47 PM 2/10/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “AmyG, what is that planet we've been watching that is near the crescent moon tonight? Just want to know what we are looking at.” 7:39:32 PM 2/26/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “UK, It's Venus .... with Saturn and Jupiter to the East of them.” 8:28:33 PM 2/26/01 RE: By light of the silvery moon... “I was watching a thing on discovery last night that on night with a full moon crime rates go up. It is thought that the rezone is because like with the ocean water the tides are higher during a full moon that the moon has a pull on are 85% wateris (my own work) bodies.” 8:40:59 PM 2/26/01
