Hey Steiny - Mole Hollow Candles “Hey Steiny -- do I remember right that on the "What's your art" thread you said that you make Mole Hollow Candles? Mrs. X and I got a box of the six-inch off-white dripless tapers as a gift with a set of candlesticks we got as a wedding present. We loved these candles. We just recently used them up and haven't been able to find them out here in LA. Can you tell me where I can find them on the left coast? Or tell me where I can call or mail for mail order or (dare I ask) on-line ordering? Please hurry -- it's getting so I can't make love without your candles setting the romantic mood! (ok, not really.) Thanks!” 10:04:35 PM 2/08/01 RE: Hey Steiny - Mole Hollow Candles “Explorer - Mole Hollow's web site is www.molehollowcandles.com . I'm pretty sure they have on-line ordering but, if not, email me and I'll make sure you get some. I think you can find out on the site where there might be a local retailer. Their votive candles burn 15 hours, and they have a new product, soy wax candles in lidded tins that burn 25 hours. They also make pillar candles that burn up to 100 hours, depending on the size. Get in touch with me directly if you have any problems or questions - I'm in contact with them at least once a week. They do make beautiful candles that burn really well, and ,of course, the packaging is stunning!” 10:28:35 AM 2/09/01 RE: Hey Steiny - Mole Hollow Candles “Thanks, Steiny, I'll check out the website! By the way, you keep saying "they" instead of "we" or "I". Did I misunderstand that you are involved with the company? And everyone else, do check these guys out. They really do make the best candles.” 8:50:08 PM 2/09/01 RE: Hey Steiny - Mole Hollow Candles “Hey X - I don't make candles, just get 'em for free. I do all their package and catalog design, advertising, copywriting, etc. For BPing, you might check out their Camp Candles, and the Soy Wax Travel Tins (which are so new they're not on the web site yet). If you email them for info, tell them you're a friend of mine and tell them I said they should send you a wholesale catalog (due to be printed this month) so you can see the whole product line.” 9:56:40 PM 2/09/01
