**FIERY GIZZARD** Another ECT Trip!!

“It's a smaller version of Savage Gulf. This one will only be A one nighter. 12.5 miles. It'll have the same as Savage Gulf as far as Bluffs, Creeks, Water Falls, Over Looks, Caves, HUGE trees, Etc. It'll be either in April or May. Saturday & Sunday.

If this is too far of a drive for anyone for just a one nighter, Within veryclose range is Grundy Lakes Recreation area, Buggy Top Trail, Franklin State Forest, & Sawnee Natural Bridge. Plus, Savage is only 20 - 30 miles away.”

If that's the case, then I'll likely be interested in a FGT say the following weekend, on the 27-28 of April. Whatcha thank?”

I'm thankin about doing a Thurs - Sun trip the weekend we decide to go. I thank I remember you saying something about us mebbe staying at Raven Pt Campsite eh? (Just so ya know, that ain't fire-friendly, not that I care.) If that be the case, I'm thankin about parking on the Foster Falls side Thurs and camping at Small Wild Area Camp, and staying on the rim Fri past Raven Camp to about halfway between Raven Camp and Grundy parking at that set of falls on the map for Fri night. Then mebbe catching you guys a.m. or lunch at the parking lot, to hike with everyone thru the Fiery Gizzard Creek gorge back to Raven Pt Camp for Sat night. Then back out with y'all to my car. I can also help with transport that way too.

I survived the middle TN floods which conveniently coincided with my move and I'm now safely ensconced in Nashville. Now I live on top of a hill boxed in by other hills...beautiful, and a much needed change from the Texas prairie.
