We got her as a pup when I was about four, and she was a great companion, very good natured, and smart too, she figured out how to open the (big) garage door by putting her paws on the chains one at a time on both sides and then leaning against the door to let herself out when my folks thought they'd leave her in the garage in the winter while we were gone to school/work. She was a very good bird-dog too.”

I'm really a Tennessean who moved to Texas. Another saying they like is (something like) "I wasn't born Texan, but I got here as fast as I could." My version of that is "I wasn't born Texan and I got outta there as fast as I could." even better is "Texas....it's like a whole other country....you'd never want to visit."

But as much as I like to bash Texas I will say that the economy (at least in the DFW area) is outstanding. I have never seen such rapid growth.

Bailey is female. I got her when she was 6 weeks old (now she's 7 yrs. old) and her fur that is now rust colored was the color of Bailey's Irish Cream....hence the name.
She's really well mannered, but I can understand others not wanting her on the trail...less hassle for me too.
